Conversápolis
It was launched in 2021 with a focus on sustainable urban mobility and has since evolved into a multi‑actor, multi‑sector network. Today, it goes beyond the idea of an event to become a permanent platform, with governance that brings together the national government, academia, city associations, and the private sector.
Conversápolis – second edition
In 2023, the event brought together 205 participants and aimed to build capacities around climate‑action themes among national and local counterparts, through the exchange and development of ideas for implementing sustainable urban development projects, culminating in a product that will enable decision‑makers and/or project developers to make progress toward sustainable cities.
Conversápolis – third edition
In 2024, the third edition of Conversápolis was held, consolidating itself as a transformative space for sustainable urban development in Colombia. With the participation of more than 250 leaders and experts from different sectors, it addressed topics fundamental to the urban future of the country and the region, such as circular economy and basic sanitation, energy efficiency, nature‑based solutions, sustainable and inclusive mobility and human mobility, as well as climate change and risk management.
